Mission Statement






In order to fulfil our vision as parents, staff and learners, we commit ourselves to a partnership which will enable the school to:

Provide a child-centred holistic (intellectual, emotional and physical) learning environment in which the diversity of the children’s experience will be honoured and incorporated

Actively encourage culture and gender sensitivity amongst staff, parents and learners and emphasise co-operation and team work as essential skills

Fulfil its social responsibility by facilitating access to remedial and emotional support services for children and parents with special needs, and by working towards addressing their special requirements

Facilitate access to financial, social and emotional support services for parents of children with special needs as well as for educators where appropriate and possible

Fulfil its social responsibility by encouraging commitment, concern and understanding of the needs of the broader community and environment, i.e. outreach programmes

Through an accepted code of conduct and a recognition of the potential that exists within each child, to promote the achievement of excellence amongst learners and a respect for the culture and institution of learning

Foster a caring and supportive working environment for staff

Commit itself to support the professional development of staff
